My Jaybirds would no longer charge – red light doesn’t come on. Changing cables, using wall charger etc did not help. They just would NOT CHARGE.
Sigh, for the price I paid for the Jaybird X4s, one would have thought the customer service would be better. But no, whenever you write to them for assistance, all you get is a canned response, and it’s exactly the same regardless of who replied. It’s like they have this template reply on a corporate server somewhere and every customer service rep just copy/paste it to every incoming ticket. Even if the issue reported has NOTHING to do with the instructions sent in the reply to you.
Once bitten, twice shy as they say. I will no longer purchase anymore Jaybirds (or Logitechs, but that is another story). I had thought that by paying a premium price, I might actually get a quality product, and if I encountered problems, a decent customer service would be available to assist.
Here I am again, writing a review for a pair of no-brand, China-made, Bluetooth “True Wireless” earbuds.
Wireless earbuds got popular in part due to Apple – they removed the 3.5mm jack on their iPhones, so the only way the users could listen to music or enjoy movies was to use Bluetooth earphones.
So, this post is kind of a “sequel” to the previous post, where I went around hunting for a better set of Bluetooth earphones (than the Baseus Encok S06).
Short version – even though the Encok S06 received mostly good reviews, most of them stating that the sound is “good”, but there’s always a follow-up sentence – “… for the price point”. So yes, for such a cheap pair of Bluetooth earphones, the sound is indeed acceptable, some might even go as far as to say good.
For me, all along I had always been using my FREE Sony MH750 wired earphones that came with my phone, for YEARS, so I am used to how music sounds on them. The music sounds different on the Baseus, and I noticed it within seconds.
