This probably won’t be a long post. Just a seasonal greeting, of sorts.
First,
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!
Next,
Happy St. Valentine’s Day!
Seeing as the 14th falls on Sunday, and it’s also the FIRST day of the Chinese New Year, I really pity the people who are in the F&B service industry this year. Restaurants probably won’t remain closed like in previous years for Chinese New Year, but have to remain open for those dating couples.
Plus, I can imagine people cutting short their “visiting” rounds to hurry to meet their other halves for that romantic dinner at some expensive restaurant somewhere, where the waiters and waitresses will probably be cursing for having to be at work on a Sunday, Chinese New Year day and Valentines Day all rolled into one.
Oh by the way, I think everyone should watch this video below about Valentine’s Day:
Remember those “Don’ts” in the video.. very practical advice!
Well I’m gonna ignore the “Don’t Stay Home” bit.. I’m gonna stay home and go crazy playing Bioshock 2, but that’s another story 🙂
