Yeah the company decided to do some "reorganising" and relocated my dept to a tiny itty bitty corner of the building, in the name of "cost cutting" and "workplace efficiency". So here I am, stuck in the tiny, small, solitary cubicle in the far extreme lonely corner.
Where Singtel service doesn't reach.
Where the kiasu company firewall has blocked off more sites than Iraq and China combined.
I can't even browse Technorati!
Well, I can, but most links I clicked from Technorati get blocked because "Reason: personal pages or blog".
IM software are all blocked too, and no amount of http tunnelling, proxy settings etc work (damn, sometimes I wish they'd hire the wonderful foreign talents for network engineers). Well, what can I say, the network guys are my peers (and they're Singaporean), so they know their stuff *salute*.
So, no SMS, no phone calls, no Internet (well, essentially not available).
I don't think I can last the week if this continues..... *drools*
