They probably got it right, and thousands of years ago too.
I guess it's just human nature that we desire what we cannot obtain. Ok enough metaphors and philosophy. Time to get down to it.
First of all, I'm not a "clubber", not now anyway. I used to be, years ago. Now, I chill and relax at pubs.
When I tell people I go to pubs, their first question is always "Where, Joo Chiat ah?"
What the hell is wrong with you guys? Why must a pub-goer automatically go to those pubs with working gals? Can't a guy just go to a pub with his friend(s) and just talk-cock? Yes, I'm one of the apparently rare men who do NOT go to pubs with working gals. Don't believe me? Let me tell you a story (and you'll see how it relates back to the post title).
Why I don't go to those kinda pubs is because, the women there are WORKING. They only hug you because they must. They only kiss you because they must. There's no emotions, no feelings. They're in it for the money (yes I don't visit Geylang for the same reason too). I can never bring myself to hug or kiss a girl if I have ZERO feelings for her, much less "go all the way". Yes it's a huge boost to the male ego if you have women all throwing themselves at you, which man doesn't? But these women do it only because they're earning a living (and I'm not condemning their choice, or lack thereof, of profession). It's fake.
When their customers grab them, they laugh and smile. Chances are, they're cursing you. When their customers do R-rated actions on them, they smile. It's fake, 90% of them. So far I've only ever seen men dragging them off into various dark spots of the few pubs I've been to, and never the other way around.
For this reason, I avoid places like these. In cases where going these kinda places is unavoidable (ie one of the guys WANT women like these), I try to minimize contact with them. If they ever approach me, I will decline, 100% of the time.
So yes, I have had first-hand experience. I turned this particular girl away. She stayed away for a few hours. Then she came again. I told her bluntly, I'm not paying for anything for her. She said "nevermind" and started to throw herself at me.
I squirm, I duck, I weave, and I avoid, but she keeps coming. Eventually the only way to avoid her was to smoke more often, and be outside the pub for as long as possible.
When I go back in, I see some other customers had procured her services, and I thought finally she'll leave me alone. When those customers left her to go to the toilet or smoke, she'd run back to me. It doesn't help that my friends are giggling at my predicament. She'd take my hand and place it on places on her body where I would go only if she was my girlfriend or my wife, and in the privacy of our own home or bedroom. When I pull away she'd put my hand back.
I asked her if she liked it when her customers do that when she's working, she said NO. I told her, "then you're making me do exactly what you don't like!", ie grope her. Male readers, take note! They actually don't like it, but they have to do it and smile at you. Imagine if this girl was your own daughter, or your girlfriend, or your wife.
Long story short - end of the night, a particular friend told me... if I keep on "not touching them" they'll want it more... "The Forbidden Fruit Is Sweeter", they told me.
When a woman says no, she means no. Does it become a "maybe if you hug me more it's a yes" when a guy says no?
Must I become a lecher to get working women to leave me alone?
