12:20 by FoxTwo Okay I'm behind the times. So sue me.
As they say, better late than never. Yup, I just discovered
Blogger, and I have decided to convert my entire "Musings" section
of my website to a Blog. Please excuse the look of this blog for the
moment. I'm still studying the template to see if I can modify it to look
like the rest of my website so that users (like you) won't even notice it!
*Evil grin*
You know, just 2 or 3 years ago I was just thinking that there has to be a better way to constantly update a website with new stuff. At the time, Dreamweaver with its templates feature seemed like the best option. I could just whip out the template, fill in the text I want and upload it to the webserver.
With blogs I don't even have to do that anymore! I am now able to just go to the website of Blogger and start typing it in. Blogger will do the rest automatically. If this isn't "user-friendly" I don't know what else is. The neatest feature in my opinion is the ability to write your blog from ANY email software or address and have it appear in your blog automatically. Now, I can imagine this would come in very handy ndeed for road warriors. All they need is their PDA (like a Palm) and an internet connection, and voila!
Ehm, sorry if you're expecting something funny or witty for this blog - I'm not in a particularly funny or witty mood today. Just found out about Blogger and was thinking this is almost the best thing since sliced bread. Come to think of it, what was the best thing before sliced bread??
Anyway, toodles for now. More next time I hope... And I hope it won't be another year or so before the next post. With Blogger I somehow don't think so.
